9/10 Rusty AMPS 216, PMPS 226, +4.5 190

Hi Everyone,

Rusty woke me up in the middle of the night with a profusion of kitty kisses, long headbutts, purrs, squirms. At first I thought he had brought me a mouse, but he just wanted to schmooze.
It's time for him to break his bounce, so I hope he will do that soon. We had a questionable shot this morning--Rusty pulled away and we lost about a drop, and there was a bubble that I couldn't get out. But on we go. Rusty enjoyed his turkey breakfast (very insistent that he wanted breakfast). Now he's napping on his little bed. I suspect he was on mouse watch for a lot of the night.

Today is our last day here. We are leading a paddle and having the group at camp for refreshments after the paddle. Home tomorrow. Rusty will have lunch served by his automat.

Ella, have a great paddle. So close to blue there for Rusty, so hope he breaks the bounce. Have a great paddle and enjoy your last day at Camp.

Hope you enjoy your day Ella! I get so tired reading your condos....leading a paddle? Well, I think I will nap and then do some Luge practicing again....sigh...I know I cannot keep up with you two! :lol:

Enjoy your paddle, Rusty is at a nice safe number, so no worries. Well, even if he is green, no worries w/ Rusty. he just isn't a diver, lucky you.

Rusty! Still no luck on the mousie? We will bring everyone today and get him for sure, then fire up the grill! I gots lots of rosemary to ad that smokey taste! Can we go paddling too? -- Tess

Safe trip home, Ella. I'm sure Rusty will be happy to be back in the beans' bed, and his little bed by the radiator.

Hi Ella - have a great paddle today - and enjoy the get together afterwards. It sounds great. I do hope that your weather is favorable. Too funny, well maybe not, on the middle of the night schmooze. I suspect that he had been on mouse watch and just anted to let you know he was done with his duties for the night and all was secure.

Hope your shot was a good one. Maybe he will break that bounce today. Maybe Rusty?

Have a safe tip home tomorrow - drive safely. Rusty - be cool dude, no car sickie stuff OK?

Have a beautiful paddle today and hope Rusty comes down later--The last days of summer are the most beautiful so enjoy your last few days there--I thought I did a bad shot today too, but I guess it was ok after all :roll: :roll: Hope you have a wonderful night!!

Hmmmm, wondering if Rusty caught that mousie, while you were out today? The cabin was nice and quiet, so the great hunter could sneak up and pounce. :lol:

Hi again,

Rusty slept all day and hardly touched the food set out for him. He ate when we got back in the late afternoon. I think mouse patrol tired him out! Looks like he might have had a flat yellow day.

Our paddle was a challenge because of cold and high winds. It was a real fall day: blustery, dark clouds with very short intervals of sunshine, and COLD. My feet were like blocks of ice in my sandals, even with socks on (I didn't expect it to be this cold so early and had not brought my paddling knee-high boots to camp). But we all had a good time. Nice li.ttle party at camp after the paddle. Rusty was happy to see us.

We are getting our quilt out because there is supposed to be a frost tonight (temps in the 30s). Home tomorrow.
