Morning ~O) ~O) always a necessity! We are a low yellow, and Maggie seems to be feeling well and good appy! We are still awaiting a healthy poo, this being the second day. It's still early, just after 5 am, so hopefully later. I was in the shower earlier and heard Maggie meowing softly wondering where is the Bean, and then a little later screaming to the top of her little lungs! So I turned off the water and called her name, and then she calmed down. I don't know what is about the shower she doesn't like!

I ordered new juice, so we'll see if Mags does a little better on her bg's. I think I'm fighting off the cold and may make a run to Trader Joe's for some more chewable Vit. C's and see what's new there! I found some Sudafed from last year's cold, but I won't take til I get home. It says non drowsy, but I remember still feeling sleepy. Wishing all a nice day!

Maybe Maggie just wants to be with you and doesn't like that she can't find you when you are in the shower. Hope Maggie slides down into some blue for you today. Hope you get over your cold soon.

Oh too funny with Maggie not knowing where you were, or just wishing you weren't in the shower. BJ used to do that to me: I'd be wherever and she'd hollering, wondering where everyone was. :shock: :lol: :lol: I'd call her name, and then all would be well.

Maggie? Prezzies today? Paws crossed for you. Good luck with the new juice, maybe that's all it will take to get Maggie back to the blues and greens. I need to break out a new pen for Mannie too, but with DGS here I think I will wait til the Friday PM cycle, just in case....

I hope you feel better soon - and that you will make that run to TJ's today. They have such fun and good stuff. Have a great day Ann!

Poor Maggie...it sounds like she really misses you when you "disappear" like that. Either that, or she thinks your crazy for liking water an bathtime :lol: !

Good luck with the new juice, and have fun at TJs!!! I'm going on Saturday (but then again, I go almost every Saturday), and it's always a fun little adventure.

Hi Michelle, sweet with BJ doing the same thing with the shower. Thanks for the paws crossed for the Prezzies. It's still fine tuning the meds, especially the Miralax. Yes, I love TJ's, too, always good products.

Hi Amy, I wonder if Maggie has a fear of water or something, maybe something negative happened with water as a kitten, or it could be she thinks I'm strange wanting a bath, as you say! :lol: Yes, TJ's is always an adventure, so much more fun than the regular grocery store and less expensive, too.

TJ's is SO much cheaper! 6 apples at my local store cost over $11; at TJs, the same type of apple cost $4.75 for 6!! I was shocked at the price difference. Plus, as you know, they've got the best chocolate ever, and great cheap wine! I recently discovered their sesame sticks...a tasty little snack, too.

Hi Amy, yes, that's what a lot are saying with the prices. This TJ's also has a wide selection of fresh fruit and organics, too. It's great for me with not liking to cook, as they have a lot of easy to fix and heat up meals. Great wines, too and best chocolate.

BTW try the "Nerelo del Bastardo" italian red. Wonderful rich wine for only $7.

I think some of this is food. When I got home, Maggie had eaten some of the food I left for her since she free feeds.

Good news, Maggie did leave me some prezzies, not much this time, but at least she stuck to her routine. Thanks for all the prezzie vines. I didn't give her as much Miralax this week, and I can see she needs it. The other meds are twice a day; well I can give the Lactulose 2-3 times/day. The Miralax is dose to effect.

Roni, so funny with Moonie the same as Mags and wanting us within sight! :lol:

BTW try the "Nerelo del Bastardo" italian red. Wonderful rich wine for only $7.

Thanks Ann & Tess, I'll add that wine to my next run to TJ's. I went earlier to beat the heat. It was cloudy when I left, but the sun's coming this afternoon.

Not too bad for her +3 this evening. I will pick up the new juice tomorrow and see if it makes a difference. Maggie has been kind of mopey all afternoon. She didn't even stir when the cable man came to make some adjustments and even let him pet her. Normally she would run underr the bed. It has been really hot and humid today though, so that could add to it. I know humidity and I don't get alomg.

Our TJ's had langostino's with all the frozen seafood. I have to go get more if they still have some.

Our kitties don't like for us to be out of their sight, either. Hershey cries at my closed bedroom door every night and Oreo cries at Jessica's. Funny kitties...

I used to have to leave the shower door open for Vyktor so he could see me and not freak out - he would even do a few laps around me in there :lol: He's over it now though, I hope that just means he matured a little and not that he doesn't love me as much :? .

Vyktor is still recovering from the 'poo disaster' so I'm still giving him a bit of Cat Lax every few days. I think it is similar to your Lactulose and I noticed on the tube the other day that it says 'prolonged use may cause certain vitamin and mineral deficiencies' I mention it just in case... Of corse it doesn't give any indication as to what is considered 'prolonged use' :evil:

Ize missed you Mags, NanaCat has been over visiting. On the plus side she has a bigger bum than MumBean so she leaves a very nice warm patch on the couch for me, also she is well trained. I just have to look at her and she will give up her seat to me :lol: :lol: :lol: but Ize missed you Mags, see you on the patio tonite - love Vyktor xxx

Hi Serryn, nice hearing from you. So funny with the shower door and Vyktor! :lol: I don't remember if I told you, but Maggie was diagnosed with Megacolon, and she takes a compounded prescription Lactulose (chicken flavor). If Vyktor is still having poo problems, maybe ask the Vet how long he can be on that Cat Lax. Maggie is also on two other scripts for the Megacolon, and it's been a bit of a challenge, but she is such a trooper not fighting the meds.

Hi Vyktor, sweetie, I have missed you, too! I have to tell you I have been corresponding a little with a male feline here on LLMB, but we are just friends, right Poopsie! You are my numero uno number 1 bf! Luv, Mags
