AMPS 283

Looks like we're bouncing from that BEAUTIFUL cycle we had yesterday but part of that is probably a food spike too. I got up at 6:30am finding him eating the last of last night's food. When I got my eyes open at about 8am and tested, we got the 283. Yesterday's beautiful numbers:

I would just LOVE to see every cycle like this!

Already cleaned sunroom carpet this morning after Schnigs messed it up yesterday. I was given an old Hoover SpinScrub cleaner - it was SO filthy I had to take the water hose to it to get the MUD out of it. I used it for the first time this morning - it didn't do 'wonderful' but it DID do 'acceptable'. I think I truly didn't know exactly how it works enough to get all the places but I looked up the manual on line to learn. I think it's just going to take a bit to get it clean inside again - I don't think the brushes had ever been taken out and cleaned - I had to take a metal scrub brush to them to get the ICK and old hair out of them yesterday. I need to figure out how to remove the front clear cover - I can SEE mud inside there too. If anyone else has one, PLEASE tell me how to take that clear 'suction' cover off!

A WONDERFUL thing to share today - for the first time in 2 years, ZIGGY walked all the way up to within 3 feet of me this morning for food! It was raining lightly, I put his bowl under a lawn chair so he'd eat 'dry' - he walked up, BOWED! and started eating as soon as I turned my back. He usually won't look at me, he keeps his eyes down but today I got to 'blink' at him! He's NEVER done the 'See how big and pretty I am? Don't I deserve lots of food and attention?' bow EVER! That just made my WEEK!

BIG HUG today for all that visit! Thoughts and prayers for all needing them...

I got the Ocuvite last week at WallyWorld - taking it daily. My eye is SO SO SO much better - day before yesterday the 'fuzz' suddenly cleared up, I only have one 'hair' floater left. My flashing sidelights only happen now when I look up and to the right! I can tell they still don't work exactly together but even that's improving. THANK YOU for suggesting the Ocuvite!

Now I KNOW that 283 was a food spike! We now have a:

He started hollering for food about half an hour ago so thought dropping numbers was the reason - GO POOKITTY GO!!!
