Roni, thanks on the idea of adding homemade chicken to the food to spice it up! I do add the Pure Bites freeze dried chicken, but fresh is always good, too! I guess no KFC though, sorry Maggie! :-|
Morning let's see what Mannie has brewing today! I was happy to see this blue AMPS! I had a nice surprise with Maggie waking me up an hour early and then snuggling in bed with me. She had me a bit worried yesterday, as she just didn't seem herself and her appy was off. Her numbers showed it, too. The apartment just bakes with the patio facing west, and the a/c sounded like it was going to pop from overtime! I don't know if it was the heat, the SD Friskies T&G causing a spike or just one of those blah days. This morning she's chatty and sitting on her patio chair watching for any sightings of critters. Her appy is back, and she's acting like this might be a poo day, but so far no deposits. I'll be gone after 8:30 or so, as I have a hair appt. and then credit union banking, and I'll do some errands in this area. Finally, we are coolong down some today. Wishing all a nice day.

I am glad that Maggie is feeling better this morning, That is great. Maybe just one of hose off days yesterday, or the heat? Good news that she was doing well this morning. nice on the early wake up call for some snuggles.

Enjoy your day - sounds like a busy one, but maybe some fun too. Happy errands! I am glad too that it is cooling down some for you guys. Way too hot there.

Ann the real chicken is Moonie's favorite and she does like her cat food, but when she is picky & not eating as I like, I stick small pieces into the food..She does get some food on the chicken & then eats some wet food too---Beans can be Tricky TOO!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Another food trick--I have her 2 main meal plates, one in the BR, One in the DR..then I put 1/4 can on plate under the cocktail table, and 1/4 can on plate by her cat condo--Moonie really enjoys eating out of most of them--BTW 2 diff flavors also :lol: :lol: :lol: --I Know another Crazy Bean--WhatEver works--Right :lol: :lol:

It looks like Maggie surfed some nice blues while I was gone. She also surprised me with a prezzie this morning before I left for a hair appt. I can tell when it's a prezzie day, as she's feeling good and very vocal. This morning I accidentally closed the door on the linen closet with Maggie inside. I didn't realize she crawled on the bottom shelf. She kept crying and it wasn't long til I discovered her. I did apologize up and down the wazoo!

Anne & Muffin, the cuddles were sweet as she doesn't very often stay very long,

Thanks Michelle on the salted caramel mocha! I really enjoyed it and it's a new one. Yes, so glad she's feeling better. Weather is much better today. I don't even have the a/c on right now.

Roni, neat with the two dishes and different flavors in different places. I do like the chicken idea and need to pick some up. I have some Chick-a-Filet strips but I know those would spike!

Thanks Rhiannon. I knew Mags would surf as she was eating well. I'm afraid the Special Diet Friskies T&G did not work out for her. As soon as I took it away, her numbers came down. It is 5 carbs, and I guess that's too much for Maggie.

Awww, poor Miss Mags got locked up in the closet?
I'm glad her tumtum is feeling better today. Aren't we sneaky beans? I stuff chicken in Checks food too, or smear chicken baby food on top. He got tired of the Pure Bites ground up, and spinkled on it.

Maggie had a lovely blue day . I really don't mind yellow night..it's good for sleeping.

Thanks Carla & Furball, Leslie & Jasper and Barb & Checkers for the visits. I'm not sure why Maggie climbed back up to yellow, but Barb has a point with yellow being good for the Bean getting sleep. I normally don't do a +2 but lately she's been throwing me surprises. Her tumtum is feeling better, thanks Barb.
