Good Morning Kitties and Beans!
Leo is currently performing a dynamic floor exercise on the Chair, with bouts of vaulting over the arm rests. He woke me up standing over me and tickling my nose with his whiskers. I pushed him away, and he came to lay right against me in a meatloaf position, staring me in the face. Sigh. So then I get up a tad late, and think I'll shoot first and test/feed right after. So I have a treat to keep him occupied so I could shoot, and he walked off with it. Rats. So I got stuff together and called him....and he didn't come.
Leo doesn't NOT come for his test. I called again. Oh crap - did this little stinker think he got his treat and now he's not coming back!?! Seriously? Isn't he hungry for breakfast??? Then I hear scrape--scrape-scrape. OOOhhhh, he was in the middle of his morning poops and pees! Silly mommy!
Oh happy news, DH is coming for the weekend! He's meeting some friends so we won't have the entire weekend together, but we'll have at least a good dinner date out of it. I told Leo, "Daddy's coming! Daddy's coming!"
Happy day all! We have chilly weather today, but it looks to be a clear day. I will take a run later before DH arrives, but after the temp gets above 40 (6) degrees! 35 now. Brrrrrrrr.
I missed some visits to Leo's Condo last night -
@Ella and Rusty - Leo seems to be loving the weekend sleep-over and settling in. I just miss that I won't see poor little Molly who gets depressed when I don't come home. Have a great weekend too!
@Wendy and Neko - funny! Molly and my wonderful best friend Josie (GA) had a truce and they could both be in bed, after some occasional hisses. One at my feet on one side, the other at my waste on the other. I loved it, but often got "trapped" between them, making nighttime bean LB trips a challenge, because of course, you don't want to bother the cats when you get up!
@Anne and Zener - don't want PJ parties for a bit. They tear me apart.
But after his +5 rising, I went to bed. Whew. My "go to bed earlier" BOS are getting bigger! Great picture! Keep that around - we'll need it later.
@Marje and Gracie - yes, hate to be away from home, but at least I have company. It makes it so obvious how despondent I'd get when I was alone. Falling asleep with a kitty next to you warms the heart.
@Shannan and JL - yup good stuff cooking! NO caffeine for Leo. I would not survive  We didn't travel this time - I ended up having to stay here this weekend because of work. But thanks for remembering and asking! Leo is *very* happy I got stuck here - 8 fewer hours freaked out in the car.
@Sienne and Gabby - good memory too! At home, Molly gets to be in bed with us. She's the old lady of the house and she doesn't care for Leo. Leo stalks her (bad boy!) so Leo gets shut in a room about half the day. I'm sure his stress levels are different in both places for different reasons. He probably likes the apartment because he gets the run of the place including the bed  But he likes home a lot because he gets to look out the back to see the critters and birds. So now he's living a double life too!
