I seriously think I have an insulin problem. With the dose increase he shouldn't be as high as he is. I called the vet today and got a new scrip for the Solastar pens instead of the vials. Picking this up today for his PM shot.

Thanks everyone for yesterday. Rhiannon - Scratchie won't do treats with his testing. Has no interest in them whatsoever. I'll have DH try some tuna tomorrow.

AMPS = 356
+5.5 = 350
PMPS = 417, 420 or 381 whichever you pick
+2=375
+6 = 336
+9 = 313
AMPS today = 370
+5.5 = 329

Keep paws crossed the new insulin does the trick, I am hoping. This is similar to what happened at the first of September. My vial isn't cloudy or have particulates but I don't like the look of the top once I examined this morning. I figure better safe than sorry.

Well I hope that was the issue. That would be good but be sure and monitor more since the new juice could have more punch to it
if your old vial was indeed bad.
Glad the weekend is upon us, good timing.

Thanks Carla and Rhiannon. I'm hoping the new juice works too. I really like the pen more than the vial. Checked the vial and had DH look at it. It was definitely 'leaking'.
