Just checking in after the hurricane. I hope everyone in LL is okay with no injuries or damage. We're fine. The worst of the storm was yesterday afternoon for us,, we just didn't know it and kept waiting for more. :lol: It's still raining and really cold! Brrrrr! (in the 40's). I need to get Racci a shirt to keep her warm in the house with all these wood floors. We're now about knee-high in leaves of every color. :lol: The only problem is there are a lot of branches down with them so one has to be careful. We got ludky from what I can see, though I havent been out walking around yet. I don't see any trees or large limbs down or damage.

Other areas not too far away have flooding and damage and the schools are closed, along with govt and a lot of other jobs. People are being told not to drive unless necessary. They expect more flooding and trees coming down.

Have to go get Racci's meds & shot ready. BBS with an AMPS.

I'm sure she's okay with all that thick fur, she does have that double coat, after all, but when I feel her fur and it feels cool to me and her little ears are cold, & it's too cold to go barefoot in my mind she has to be cold on her belly, whether she is or not. :lol: I'll have to get a small dog shirt or something since no one seems to have cat shirts.
Thanks! If it ever dries up, I'll get out and survey the property but other than that, I'll be staying home and hoping none of my trees have a delayed reaction. (anti-jinx)

:lol: :lol: I didn't forget the amps, Marje. It did look like it though. There are no mornings without coffee for me. I don't even operate enough to type, nevermind remember, without coffee! :lol:
I'll definitely take pictures as soon as I get the shirt for Racci. I don't think I have anything in the house that will work. I have an old sweater from my Abi (ga) dog but that will be too big and too warm for the house. I wish I had some of my grandson's outgrown clothes. If I decide I want it badly enough today and have a suitable material I may make a shirt. I'll see how I feel later. Thanks! Have a great day!

I just bought my little dog a Thundershirt. She's become a nervous nellie ( or chicken little) and it helps her be less anxious. It's like a little doggie straightjacket. :lol: She just loves it. They make them for cats too.

Racci seems to be doing better lately in the numbers.
Paws crossed that she keeps it green!

Sorry I disappeared. I fell asleep for a while after getting some of my work done. I had wanted to continue reading and visiting condos. I haven't been feeling well lately. I just can't shake this bronchitis. I'm exhausted all the time.

Actually Racci went all the way up to 200! for her +6.5! She was constipated but still to go that high? I hope she went down tonight. She hasn't wanted to eat much today either but ate after pooping. I hope she went back down too.
