KT didn't like the time change AT ALL this morning - he was HUNGRY. I did a fur shot last night - completely THRU the tent. THAT sure didn't help any numbers... There's food in that AMPS, only lc, but with no insulin last night, it sure zoomed him up. I've only got 1 strip left for my ReliOn meter, having to use the OneTouch which does tend to read about 25-30 points higher above about 200. It still keeps him safe, it just requires so much more blood that I tend to bruise his ears.
We're now anxiously awaiting the next new family member to arrive - Mr. Nathan, my 'great nephew' is due today, Dr.'s checkout yesterday says he's baked and ready, dropped - now just waiting on labor to start. My DS, Nathan's 'Grammy', is excited but really scared too - she lost her only baby 4 hours before birth, her two girls are adopted. The sort of neat thing about that adoption is that the mother is also the mother to MY oldest granddaughter making the girls both cousins AND half-sisters.
BIG HUGS to all that visit today! They missed weather forecast, our high was to be 70, it's already 60 with sunny skies so we SHOULD still have some warmth today!
