Good Morning

Oh no, what on EARTH did Leo do in the night?!? FINALLY he comes off this bounce (and alas, we travel again today and short-circuit any progress he's made) and I've screwed up my alarms and missed a late night test?!? I'd love to know if the 159 is coming up or going down. Bad bean! But I DID get some sleep!

Yesterday was full of fun and play from the minute I got home from work. More Got-Your-Tail, tickles under the bed, and run-across-mommy's-lap-while-she-watches-TV-to-play. My sweet boy.

Another big fight downstairs last night, screaming, banging, throwing things. It scares Leo and pisses me off. I suspect there may be property damage from all the loud banging. This time I was bad - I stomped around in my clogs at 6 AM. I'm tired of it, and moving in 3 weeks, so I don't care anymore. Sadly though, we are moving from an apartment with beautiful big windows for Leo, to a basement apartment with one tiny window that has the half-circle metal around it. :cry: :cry: :cry: I have to figure out a way for him to get up there. No room for a tall condo.

Hugs and love and vines and vines and vines to Dale, DH and Emma. Words cannot express, but sweet Max is free to fly. And continued vines to Roni, DH and Moonie as they struggle to regroup after Sandy.

Lisa, sometimes you just got to get some much needed sleep. I missed testing Simon over the night last night and he too was dropping. But both boys are good today so yay for sleep!

So sorry about the problems you are having with your neighbors. Good think you are moving and I also hope you are able to figure out something so Leo can look outside. Even if it doesn't work out, not having the stress of screaming and banging will surely make Leo feel better and calmer.

Hi Lisa, don't feel bad on the sleep thing. I did the same this morning! You need to take care of the Bean, too, so that we can serve the kitters! :lol: Sending good vines for the trip and hope it gets much better. Oh sorry about your neighbors. I know as I've been in the same situation. It's too bad you have to move. Have you told the Property Manager. Maybe other neighbors are also being disturbed. I hear noise here, too, mostly just my neighbor's TV and the lady on the other side banging her kitchen cabinets. Have a nice day.

Good morning Ann - I am leaving of my own choice. It's gotten too expensive, and the heating bill is horrendous (all electric heat). I am moving closer to work so I can go home to check on Leo more easily during the day. Cheaper rent and utilities included. I am currently about 40 minutes from work. Since Leo appears to be a Commuting Kitty, I don't think I have much choice.

Hi Georgia - yeah, I hope so too. It may be he doesn't mind at all, but he goes home on the weekends and has his backyard to look over, so it's not like he'll be deprived forever.

Hi guys .. great looking numbers for leo today! No worries on not grabbing that extra test last night .. we have to remember to listen to our bodies! I sure hope the next few weeks go fast for you guys, so you won't have to deal with that nonsense anymore .. and I'm sure leo will love whatever you do for him in your new place! HI guys thanks for stopping by our condo this morning! I am still trying to get to know everyone on here, in two and a half years things change which is good! Glad you are moving and hope it all works out for you. Don't worry about missing a test, sometimes sleep is more important and as you know with our sugar cats it is sometimes few and far between. I certainly don't get enough sleep especially since I work nights. Have a great Friday!

I agree about needing to sleep, and not sweating the +6! So glad you are moving, how stressful..6 oclock clog dancing actually sounds perfect under the circumstances :twisted: ... and in lieu of the window you are losing (sorry about that for both of you!) maybe you could buy Leo an aquarium...we had many many hours of entertainment from ours! Glad you will be closer to Leo when you`re at work soon :YMHUG: Hope your trip is uneventful today.

We have arrived home, with no spontaneous emissions of any bodily fluids (except for a little drool and foam). Yay for Leo!!!!!

I rearranged my car AGAIN. He came in the front seat where I'd laid out my winter coat. I didn't expect him to stay but he looked around, then sat NEXT to me behind the shifter. Well, one quick stop would have fixed that! But he curled into a ball on my coat and stayed there the ENTIRE TRIP! Now, granted, we had idea conditions. I left early so no rush hour, no rain, no big rigs blaring down, it was light out, and he'd pooped and peed before we left. For my own memory - Cerenia 6 hours prior, only 2 of 3 breakfasts, Rescue Remedy on paws 30 min before, and spray carrier and inside car when we got in. Whew!

I'll have to remember how thankful I am this trip when the next horrid trip comes along!

HI Alexa - yes, a part of me enjoyed the clogging. Friends on Facebook suggested subwoofers and Ride of the Valkyres! An aquarium ... that could be fun but torture for the poor guy! He was an outside hunter after all. I think I'll start with Animal Planet ... is that Mannie? Reuben? I don't remember who loves AP.

Hi Michelle - nice to meet you too - I don't know everyone but am slowly making my way around. It's hard to visit everyone's condo every day - so many people and interesting conversations. Sleep = good

Hi Devon - Leo won't be with me next week, so that's when I'll do my AM clogging. It upset him when I was stamping around too. I didn't think of that :-( It will go quickly hopefully!

HI Michelle - I'm glad he was at lower numbers today, since the ride blasts him up. I was pleasantly surprised that on arrival he was only 335. But I suspect there was a flight into red some time during the trip!

Mannie - yum it was deere-licious! You are super fast and super good! Next time, I give tuna-roll tip!

I'm sooo glad your trip went well. When our kids are upset, we are frantic trying to make their world right. The only other thing i can offer for traveling, is that Oliver likes to be in his box covered and dark when there's lots of noise. (trucks, etc). I hope all your trips are as good as this one was.

Stomp on those neighbors once for me. Glad you're getting new digs.

Lisa, Glad you and Leo had a great mostly dry commute today! Here's hoping for many more like it. Getting some extra sleep (or losing less sleep) helped too. Bummer about your raucous apt neighbors :twisted: , its sooo tempting to respond in kind. Glad you will be outta there in 3 weeks, will be Happy Thanksgiving indeed! I am sure you will figure out a way for Leo to reach your new window, if you need ideas post a picture of the new digs and surely someone here will hlep figure out to make it work.
