Oh what an ugly number THAT is Sir PooKitty. Mr. Liver sure brings a lot of sugar when he finally gets fed up with low numbers... :roll: We had a beautiful run yesterday, was hoping it would continue but, alas, best laid plans of mice and men... ;-) He has eaten a LOT already today but I've figured out he does that when he's high - body can't get the right 'stuff' out of it. I'm thinkin' we'll see it break tonight...won't we KT!
Oh I think we've been given another HUGE gift without knowing it. When my little brother crossed in June, we got the Torino but we ALSO got a 1967 VW Beetle all baja'ed out, chrome covers, huge tires, rock suspension - LOTS of fun but rides like a lumber wagon. We both felt this HUGE need to buy it, a wierd feeling 'need' for both of us. I DO love my VW bugs but there's no room to carry groceries, no heat, no a/c, LOUD road noise...but we listened to that 'need'....paid $1,200 for it. NOW our central heat unit is going out...the company that we use has a new young employee...THAT WANTS A VW BAJA BUG! He showed up this morning to look at it - looks like we're going to be able to trade the VW for a whole NEW furnace!!! He's back at the office now talking with his boss trying to figure out how to even MAYBE add a used A/C unit to it in the trade! I doubt we get THAT part done but looks like we WILL have the heat!!! That's doubling what we paid for the VW which we didn't need anyway!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
BIG HUGE HUGS to all that visit today - thoughts and prayers with those that have lost their babies lately. That's SO hard to live through. Extra ones for Roni/Brad/Moonie as they take one step forward at a time.
