Good Morning, Everyone,

Getting a late start this morning. We've been to the farmers' market and the post office (a 2-mile walk, Barb, to answer your question) and have been doing laundry, etc. More chores and grocery shopping are on the agenda for this afternoon.

Rusty has a much better AMPS today and hopefully his trip bounce is coming to its conclusion. He had a good night, went tearing down the stairs for his breakfast, had a good test and shot and enjoyed his Wellness Chicken. He is chillaxin' on his perch, observing the snow and the deer tracks.

p.s. A friend sent us the neatest Advent Calendar from the Metropolitan Museum. It features a Xmas tree and Xmas scene originally designed by the Wiener Werkstätte in the early 20th century. The cardboard tree (3-dimensional) gets set up and the "doors" in the Xmas scene each contain a cardboard ornament, which you then hang on the branches until all 25 doors are opened--one each day. It's the best Advent Calendar I've ever seen! We set it up on the mantle.

Hi again,

Lookit that! Rusty came down to green for PMPS!! Atta boy! We had a good day with some fine play this afternoon with 3 bell balls and the paper-towel roll. Our game has been refined and is continually evolving. It's a type of bowling. He's a great strategist!

We hope that you all are enjoying the weekend. I got all my chores done. Now I can read my book later this evening.

Thanks for visiting, everyone. Rusty's bedtime fuds are set out and we are turning in. As is his custom, he'll wait downstairs for a while and then meow, and then come upstairs to begin nibbling on his food and then hop up to his place on the bed.
