Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Last Condo
AMPS 156
I haz a BLUE boy this morning! Better than that ole' pink thing I had last night! We've got a little bitty mouse running around behind the fridge and stove - both big cats are camped out on the rug in front just waiting...dadum..dadum...Nuisance, well...he's scared of 'strange' noises which include mice... He's hiding behind the island peeking one eye out to watch.
DH isn't doing too well last few days - we're struggling with paralysis attacks several times a day. If he gets chilled at all, one starts, when he gets overly hot, one starts, when he sits down for a few minutes, one starts, when he gets UP, one starts. He's really getting upset with his body which just causes stress..which starts another one. He keeps getting up, stumbling around, holding onto things, grabbing things that 'give' and falling.....ARGHHHH!!!!! He went down yesterday between my desk and the wall - I had to climb over him to give him meds as couldn't get him out. I spilled half the potassium all over him but did get enough in to stop that attack and give him strength to get out of that hole. Oh the joys and tribulations of 'HKPP'.
A funny to share today....the missing pill! Each morning Schniggles (Pugsley) gets half a benadryl to control her sneezing attacks. Scruffy also gets his heart pills. I line up bottles, cutter, etc on cabinet. DH is sort of crazy about not letting the pups near so they won't get something if I drop one. Last week I cut a benadryl, put half back in pill container - as I started to pick up the other half, it slipped out of my fingers, headed to the edge of counter. I did a 'body block' just KNEW I'd trapped the pill as didn't hear it hit the floor. It's NEON pink so it's not easy to miss. I slowly back up...no pill...back up more, STILL see no pill. Start checking folds in sweatshirt...STILL no pill! I'm trying to do this without bringing attention to the fact I've lost a pill - DH will go crazy coming to help but if I can't find it, he can't either! OK, it HAS to be here - altho' I KNEW pups weren't there, I slipped into living room to be sure they weren't chewing on anything. Nope, laying sleeping! Back to the kitchen and start crawling on floor....quietly. Nope, didn't fall in cracks or in dishwasher. After about half an hour, I gave up...I wasn't OVERLY concerned because if they DID get it, it was just benadryl and their dosage. All day I checked again and again...WHERE did it go? Next day, still no pill anywhere! OK, I've lost my mind too. Just happened to reach down and pick up a ball of rolling hair - there STUCK under the edge of the counter was that pill!!!! WHEW!!!
Thoughts and prayers today for all that need them. We have several beans mourning loss of their babies right now, we ask for comfort for them.
