Happy Sunday!

I hope the weather is better where you are than here. It's cold, gray and drizzling, a typical yucky winter day. This is the type of day that makes me wish I still lived in S. FL. Oh well.

Racci had a nice amps this morning however it's the same one she had yesterday. She woke early and has been awake since about 6am and did not really go to sleep until after I got up for good. She seemed to want me awake with her, not just feeding her and going back to bed. confused_cat Silly girl! As soon as she had her meds and shot and food she went to sleep again knowing that I'm awake with her.

I hope all the sick kitties feel better today. Have a great day!

Hugs,
Melanie & Racci

Hi Melanie, what a nice cycle today for the pretty Racci. Mags and Racci are both in the Green Lagoon. Hope you had a good Sunday.

Hi Ann!

Yes, it was so nice to see both of them swimming together in the lagoon with their pretty green swimsuits on. Racci said they had a good time.

I hope you got to go to lunch with your friend today. I hung out and relaxed with Racci. I'm trying to figure out how to get the stains out of her mane and paws without giving her a bath in the winter. Nothing seems to take them out. I'm going to have to buy her a bib or something. I don't really like the idea of bathing her in the winter. The house is cold and it takes forever for that long thick fur to dry. I've been spot cleaning her but it doesn't do a good job. Any ideas?

Have a good night!

Hi Melanie. have you tried those Kitty Wipes that are sold at the pet stores? You can find them in the dog section, too, or Target. I use them a lot on Mags when I give her the Lactulose via syringe. It's so sticky that if I don't catch it right away, it mangles her fur so badly. Very good for spot checking. Yes, Mags told me she had a great time at the Lagoon hanging out with Racci.

Hi Ann,

I tried them on Racci's butt and she got a rash from them so never tried them again. It might be okay to use on her mane though. Maybe I'll buy another pack and try it. Thanks for the suggestion. I wonder if that stuff they sell for poodles eye stains would work on her mane and paws? I even tried Dawn dish detergent and it lightened it but didn't get it all. I don't know why they put such strong food dyes in the cat food!
