12/22 Moonie AMPS 372, +3~271,PMPS 359 2 Poo!

Evening LL!! Moonie woke up not feeling too good-She peed for the 1st time ever on the LR rug & pooped twice outside LB--OK~~~ Point is she Pooped & I was Happy! I give her the prednisolone in the evening, dont know if that has any different effect~~may have caused the pee problem ~~ AND She seems to not want Crunchy treats anymore, Yes she has rejected Temptations confused_cat confused_cat ~~So I wnet to pet food store & got her soft Whisper Lickins treats, which she really likes, but they are loaded with wheat gluten, corn, etc, Hence possibly the high numbers today--I cut back today on them, once I read the ingredients !!! She was much better as the day wore on.
I heard Wellness makes a soft treat that would be much better for her~So off I go AGAIN tomorrow to the pet food store--(they must think I am nuts!!!)
Then she pooped again this afternoon!!!! party_cat party_cat party_cat
Soon hopefully it will all be out soon, but I need more lactulose...Dont want to run out over the holiday, so off I go tomorrow also to the vets!!--Gee for one day doing nothing!
So it is getting better...
Have to check her later Hoping she will come on down!!

Great to see Moonie doing better, even with the clean-ups :smile:
The treats I give Simon to boost his BG are "Luvs" made by Purina. Googling brings up a Purina Canada page, so I don't know if they sell them in the US.
I only really give them as a BG boost - the ingredients seem to be VERY close to Whisper Lickins, wheat gluten, corn meal etc.
But they do provide a quick carb infusion, and Simon will scarf a few even if he's full :lol: And the civvies "luv" them of course. ;-)

Good luck getting all the stuff for Moonie. The Wellness treats (in little foil bag, can't remember the name of them right now, but they are little squares of jerky). I used to have some, but Rusty didn't care for them very much, so never restocked.

We are about to leave for my sister's. Have a great holiday and I hope that Moonie gives you more presents.

Roni, so glad Moonie is getting regular, and even with the cleanup. She had a lot in there, so sounds like she just couldn't hold this last prezzies release. I hope you find a replacement treat. That sounds like a good one recommended by Ella. (((Hugs))) Scritches to Moonie.
