Yeah probably doesnt matter with Pepper here. I mean I think we all would be surprised if he did a big drop on the 6th dose... would be good but given how STUBBORN he is then its not a huge surprise.
How is he doing generally health wise? Hows his energy? No ketones right? Whats his urine sugar like do you know? Just want to make sure he is doing ok. Great that you are giving fluids!

Hi Wendy. Thanks for stopping by and checking up on Pepper. Pepper's OK generally. He's not very active - he mostly likes to lay around. No ketones the last time I tested. Haven't caught him on the litter pan for a couple days though. I don't know what his urine sugar is like. Do you use a special test strip to find that out?

I use keto-diastix which have two little patches on them, one for ketones, the other for urine glucose. What I like is that the urine glucose gives me an idea of my cats renal threshold and whether they are exceeding it and by how much. Pepper will be exceeding it for sure but just curious by how much. I wouldn't bother getting them if you don't have them already.
