I am trying to figure out what 'condo' means. I can see that it is the link to the previous days post but does it stand for something?

Milo's condo

I offered Milo his normal DM canned(gravy + regular) bowl this morning but he wasn't interested so I guess he is switching to Wellness today. He was interested in that. I hope I can get him to eat a whole can everyday. I hope it's not too much of a change right after him quitting the dry food. Although I did give him a bit of dry food in the middle of the night. I will move it so it doesn't happen again. Maybe that's why he was at 490 this morning.


A question about returning test strips...I tried returning some to Walmart, I had opened the box but not the foil package and they refused. Do you think my vet would take back a package that I didn't open the box? I really hope so. I bought them last week so it isn't like they are expired.

They should take back an unopened box. If there's a problem with the box you opened, call the manufacturer.

A condo is Lantus Land slang for your daily thread. (One condo, per cat, per day). We call them condos for 2 reasons. Many of us have condos for our cats.

In addition, it sounds silly to visit a "thread." So, we visit each others condo.

I just looked at Milo's Profile. He's gorgeous! Is he (all or part) Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat?

Since Milo's numbers are dropping quickly, I'd suggest getting a few more tests. Is it possible for you to get a +2 or +3? Right now, he's bouncing off of the lower numbers. Eventually, that's going to stop. You don't want to be caught by surprise if his numbers are dropping and getting an early test can help you to have an idea where the cycle is going.

I agree! Milo absolutely is gorgeous! I'd be sure and get a +11... Looks like he's coming back down.

Oops I was going to get a +11 but he seemed ok. He was at 179 for PMPS, same as yesterday so I did his 2 units. I will check his +1 and +2 and more.

I don't really know what kind of cat he is. I thought maybe Maine Coon but I just googled Norwegian forest and that looks just like him.

It is important when they are clearing a bounce like this to keep a tab on the numbers. I've had times when Gracie was clearing and ended up in the 40 s at PS. It's not uncommon.

I'll check in for your +1 and +2. Hard to say if he will continue to clear or he will go back up.

I will probably stay up and check him at +4, 5 and 6. Just to make sure but I am happy to see these kind of numbers.
