HAPPY FURSDAY!!
Well I did the extra test last night, even though I had planned to go to bed, hoping to see green. At PM +7, I went to bed after he showed me (106). But, with an AMPS of (77), I guess he was just waiting for me to go to bed before going green. The last three mornings, before I got up, I could hear Hershey hissing at Oreo for no apparent reason. I don't know he goes through spells of this. Siblings! :YMSIGH: Fortunately, Oreo seemed unconcerned and it was short-lived. Otherwise, all is well, with all P's in place. Maybe he'll even visit the greens, again, tonight??
Doug is making forward progress, slowly but surely. He slept well, but not as well as the previous nights. Of course, he was taking less pain meds, too. After breakfast, we walked the neighborhood and he only had to stop once, to crank up his TENS unit. Then, we went to see my mom and his parents. He seemed a little tired, but doing okay. Supper and shower and then, the fever and pain came back! This is three nights of a low-grade fever, but tonight he felt worse with it. I'm thinking the pain was a combination of a more active day and his TENS battery going dead. He's been working that thing - YAY for having two batteries!! Glad tomorrow is his post-op appointment...BUT - they're calling for rain/SNOW/rain, so I hope we still HAVE an appt!
Thanks for visiting us today. Hoping to get some condos before my eyelids slam shut!
Have a wonderful night -
Libby (& Hershey, too!)
