yesterday
morning
I spoke to the vet this morning and they are super busy today but they gave me one of the vet's to speak with so we could discuss options and decide whether
or not to squeeze her in.
We decided together to wait and add to tuesday's line up.
They will give her the pre-sedation shot when we get there and then draw blood before the anesthesia.
they will do a quick in house analysis.
Then when they are ready to administer the anesthesia.... they will get x-rays of her front arms, shoulders, and chest area as well as teeth.
This will take a lot of anesthesia time...
and they will get the teeth cleaned but they don't plan on any extractions unless they is a very quick one.
If there are extractions, she will have to come back another time.
looking for arthritis in the xrays and any possible masses in the chest area.
Her infiltrative lipoma was removed in sept 2010.
Meanwhile I am doing my best that she will not jump down from anything higher than the sofa where she slept last night. I tried to sleep with her for a while
but there wasn't enough room so I kissed her goodnite and went off to bed. My DH put her in bed this morning when he fed her and she stayed with me
while I slept this morning.
If her elbows were possibily arthritis, it makes sense that her front shoulders might be too and hopefully x-rays will confirm.
And at least we started in green today ... for a change....
I am hopeful that the new lantus pen in the fridge was just wasted money....
