Good Morning LL

Thank you everybody, who offered support and comfort last night. I didn't know a meter could even register 600!!! :o

This is the third time, I've had to start this condo. I keep losing it, trying to go back and forth to Photobucket.
I give up trying to show the Fishy Moon, at 6:30 this morning, from my window.

Checks is sorry he missed the party last night, and hopes all the kitties had a good time. :smile:

He ate a good breffis today, in 3 installments, between sink/tub, and fountain drinks.
Here he is, wondering where the stream of water is.

Ummm Checks....it's on your head. :lol:

Phew....SO relieved to see you on a numbered floor, Checks. You gave your MamaBean quite a scare last night....don't do that again!!!

I too started with your condo this morning. I am so glad that Checkers has a decent start this morning, and that he has left that awful floor. Today will be a good day for him. :-D Right Checks? Aim for blue - blue is good. No diving though, 'K?

Loved the photos! Too funny on the water.... :lol: :lol: The moon photo was nice too. For once we to could actually see it: no clouds! fancy that... :lol: :cool:

And I know on those meters and those numbers... omg, huh! Mannie had become quite the follower of those readings. I know exactly how you felt. aiyee. well today will be better for Checks.

Barb, I was thinking of you also first thing this morning and so glad to see this number for Checkers. I didn't know either the meter could register a 600! Oh on that pic :lol: :lol: love it! I'm looking forward to blue today, not green, as I have a hair appt, at his +5. :lol:

That picture doesn't do justice to the moon. It was HUGE, at 6:30 in the morning. I almost never see the moon in daylight.
I forgot to look for it last night.

Michelle, I kept thinking of you, last night, and how brave and stoic, and gracious you always were.
Oh, to have such courage. :smile:

Checkers why do you do this to your mommy?

I do not want him low today, and risk him soaring thru the roof again tomorrow!
I have to leave in 45 minutes...his +5...for hair appt, that was not easy to get, so don't want to have to cancel. :YMSIGH:

I just gave him BFF smelly stuff with sauce, so hope to raise him a little, but not overdo it.
I'll have to give more carby stuff before I leave, I'm sure. Phooey!

Hi Barb....wow! lovely dip Checkers!!! How nice to get out for a little while and go to the salon....try not to worry about him while you're there :-D He's in very good hands :mrgreen:

WOW! Checks! No need to get so excited when the juice kicks in. I hope the gravy kicks ing and makes him surf while you are out.

Barb, we all panic when we see numbers like that, but a cycle of high numbers is not a big deal in the long run as long as you know why it happened and you nailed it on the head w/ the furshot dx.

Hi Barb. My goodness, Checkers certainly had a wild day yesterday didn't he? It looks like he's got things turned around this morning though. Maybe he just wanted a bit more attention yesterday.

The photos you posted are great. I especially like the one with him staring at the drain in the sink while the water is running on his head. :lol:

Checkers passed a bm this morning, that was so wretched, it burned my nose, trying to scoop the box.
I have never smelled anything like that, coming from a cat.
I have a feeling, he may have had a bellyache yesterday. That was just unusually nasty and odd.

I guess I overcarbed a bit, before I left today, but he normally is coming up around +7 anyway.

And thanks Barb for what you wrote. You are more than kind. It has never been easy caring for Mannie, and those wild BG swings of his. Harder when things started to unravel with him in terms of illness, alot of which I could not control. I learned a ton from him, on how to be patient, stoic in way, and accept what I cannot change, work with and assist what I could. It is so hard sometimes tn keep things in perspective. I so understand how you felt last night, but you did know what caused it, you did well, as hard as it was to watch unfold. They sure do not make it easy on us do they?

I'm sorry that I missed your later posts yesterday. Those high numbers must have been frightening, especially with Checkers not acting right. It's a relief to hear that it was all owing to the fur shot. Amazing how much better our kitties feel when they get their insulin. But it also sounds like he may have had a stomach upset, too. Could the Bupe cause an intestinal upset? Anyway, he is doing fine today.

Yo Checks, we missed you at the party. Sorry that you didn't feel well. But you can come over and have some leftovers later. OK?

Barb, we didn't see the moon this morning because it was snowing to beat the band! But last night it was spectacular. Neat pics of Checks in "his" sink and of the Full Fish Moon. Get some rest this evening. I'm so glad that Checkers' numbers are back to where they should be.

I'm glad Checkers is doing better today and that you got to go out to your hair appointment. I hope he keeps surfing blue for you. I love the pictures.

Aw man. Sorry about the bounce. But I'm glad he seems to be feeling better. He must've felt better after the LB visit today ~ poor guy ~ and your poor nose.

I hope tomorrow's a better, bounce-free day.

(((Barb)))). I must tell Checks that he has one of the most awesome mums and he should not worry you so much! I'm glad things are better today.

I love his pic.. :lol: :lol: :lol: cats are so funny. He will let the water drip on him but if you tried to dip his paw in water, he'd probably go bonkers :lol:
