Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty had a good night and was eager for his breakfast. He went tearing down the stairs, meowing for us to hurry up. We had a good test, good shot, breakfast combo plate of FF T&G and Wellness Turkey, the "lung treat", and a nice schmooze. Rusty is snoozing in his little bed by the radiator (31 degrees this morning). I'm doing laundry in preparation for our trip to NY City tomorrow. Rusty has his best AMPS number in over a week. I've been working to get him back to better numbers, but the numbers will undoubtedly go back up again because these trips to, and stays in, NYC are always stressful/boring for him. But we have things to do there and must go, so where we go, Rusty goes too!
It is a beautiful, sunny morning and temperature is supposed to be in the mid 60s today. We will certainly get out in our canoe this afternoon. We need to check on the condition of a channel between two ponds for a trip we are leading a week from tomorrow. It may be clogged with debris (or still be iced up). Rusty will enjoy some outdoor time today after it warms up a bit. He had a lovely time yesterday, sitting in front of the chipmunk's doorways, waiting!
Wishing everyone a lovely day and sending healing vines to all who need some,
Ella & Rusty
Hey Kitties. I'm going to the City tomorrow and hope that my friends will join me there. Tess has made "Mannie was Here" plaques and we are going to put them up in all the spots we like to visit--the hot dog stands, the ferry, the library, the museum, the rooftop, the headquarters of the Blue Mannie Group on Lafayette St. (see photo below). See you there. Tuesday will be Central Park.
