5/2 Checkers pmps 303 +1/311

Good Morning LL

Checks came down slowly from red last night, and settled on the pink floor.
I have to figure out how to get the nasty bitter taste of clindamycin out of his mouth, after dose.

If necessary, I'll offer a few pieces of dry, after squirting it in his mouth.
Getting his mouth healed, is more important then keeping his numbers at a certain level right now.
It hurts to have inflamed gums. :cry:

I suspect my boy will give me permission to make a WalMart run, this morning. He's in a great mood today, washing his feet in Tux's water dish right now. :lol:

The dry treats might make the medicine go down more smoothly. Any way they can give you pills? Will he do pill pockets?

Nice getting off that red floor Checkers. Now for yellow! I agree on the dry treats. I use them with Tarragon occasionally and just deal with the BGs.

:lol: :lol: Checkers, I can always depend on you for a laugh! It looks like Checkers gave permission for a Walmart run, Barb. Hope you had some fun shopping. Hope Checkers has a slide down, too.

Hi Barb. Glad to see Checkers on a lower floor. I hope he pressed the down button in the elevator @+4. Maybe he things you're getting him some goodies at Walmart and doesn't want you not to go.

You might have to get Tux something to get the taste of Checkers's feet out of his mouth. :lol:

Got to WalMart. Got more backup strips. Got some cat food, but only Fancy Feast. I'm tired of throwing away, the experiments.
Went and looked at mattresses at Sears, 'cause it is near Wally World. Didn't like what they had.

Came home to a nice yellow 219. Now we're up to pink again.

Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do to get them to eat and/or take their medicine. I've been gone too long....I had no idea Checks was having issues. I'm glad he's been feeling well, even with the ugly numbers. I'll be checking him in my prayers that he has more good days than bad!!
