5/26 Rusty PMPS 252, +4.5 109

Good Morning, Everyone!

Look at Rusty's AMPS! It looks like the Rusty AMPS of old. Good boy! He had a good night sleeping between his beans, polished off all his nighttime food and was hungry for breakfast. We had a good test, but during the shot he shook his head just as I was about to push the plunger on the syringe and the syringe went flying! It didn't lose any insulin, so I shot it, but then worried that the sterility was compromised. I just wasn't thinking! Fingers and paws crossed that Rusty will be OK.

The rain and cold (38 degrees) continue. I sure hope we can get out for a walk today. A paddle would not be fun in this weather. Hopefully tomorrow's paddle will be in sunshine and warmer temperatures (promised, but we no longer believe the weather man!). We are having a nice visit with my sister. I probably won't be back on the board until much later today or this evening, but am thinking of you all.

I think any little thing that changes the shot time scenario gives any of us the skitters...
I know I would get so focused on the "sequence" that something changing just made me a nervous Nellie.... :lol:
So unless you squirt it out in the air and have to go take a time out , and think about it.... you are still going to try to make the sequence of events
happen.
I'd never make a good EMT ...

Ah, lovely green AMPS. Good to see him back where he belongs! Rusty must have worked so hard cooking for the full moon party that all the lovely fuds didn't bother his BGs one bit!

That 96 was short-lived! Maybe all the insulin got jolted out of the syringe.

I hope this finds you enjoying the time with your sister. So sorry on the weather there today - what a bummer! I hope it will be better tomorrow, with warm and some sun, so all can go on that paddle. Did you get ut for that walk today? Hope so. Our weather was miserable, but I went out anyways.

I LOVE Rusty's amps this morning! GREEN! I wonder if maybe some of the insulin was lost, just due to the rise in numbers after that, nice to see the +4 tonight brought it all back down. it is so good to see Rusty back with the good stuff! GOOOOOOOOOOOO Rusty!
