Green yesterday
Zener is doing fine, now that MamaAnne is home!
He got 0.25u less last night and only half this morning, so I could go do my race. So his shed is probably depleted now. Appy is good. We've had a little lap time. Now he's chasing Tillie because she's flicking her pompom tail at him.
OT: It rained! We heard a clap of thunder and then heard the rain on the windows.
Woohoo! Even got a little hail too. The sidewalks actually got wet.
This probably isn't the start of monsoon season but it's getting close. Usually that happens about 4th of July but we always hope for an early start.
Anne missed the last shuttle to Flagstaff because the plane was late. So she got on one this morning. That was the only hiccup in her travels this time, so not too bad. My race (Gaspin' in the Aspen, 15 km or 9 miles) went fine. I was definitely gaspin'.  It was all on trails with some nice views of Kendrick Mountain. It was very dusty and the wind had already picked up but the race was mostly in the forest so the wind wasn't too bad there. I pretty much walk the uphill and run on the flat and downhill.
I hope everyone is having a lovely Caturday. Thinking of ailing kitties and beans.
