My DH had some practice being BIC tonight ~ I got a last-minute invite to dinner with a friend, so DH did T/F/S tonight on his own . It's good practice because I'm going out of town Thurs-Sun, and he'll be BIC (insulin and fluids). It's only the 2nd time I'm going away since Ripley's diagnosis in Nov. I'm both excited and nervous (of course ~ when am I not nervous?) Back in Feb., I was gone for several days and came home to a very constipated kitty nailbite_smile . But hopefully we have that taken care of with her current anti-constipation treatment. Also, that time I was gone was pre-fluids treatment ~ as a matter of fact, we started fluids on Valentine's Day, the day after I returned home from that trip.
I'm sure DH will do fine. And I'm sure Ripples will do fine, as well. I'll still worry, though. It's in my nature. :lol: :roll:
