Julia's first shot was tonight and we'll go ahead with the 0.5 to start.
PMPS 256
She is working on 1/2 can of FF (lo carb) with a little FF chicken appetizer sprinkled on top. She's not normally an evening eater so I wanted to make sure it was something she would eat and even now she only ate about 1/2 of it if that.
What would be the recommended test times for tonight? I read at least +3, +6, +9 but wanted to double check that I shouldn't do it any earlier. Maybe a +2?
Feed again in an hour or two?
And ketones were negative last night.
ETA: We went ahead and started. Yay!
lol I know it won't always be that easy but I got the 0.5 in the syringe on the first try perfectly. It was a nice way to start. Granted, I practiced with water (and a different syringe) for a good 20 minutes beforehand.
