Gracie's Yesterday

Happy Sunday!!! Boy is it HOT here!!! Sending tons of healing vines to Tashie, Zeus, Pat's Shadow, KT, Maggie, Peepee, Baxter,and any others needing them today.
ADVENTURE in Gracieland today!!! We cleaned out the toy box!!! We brought a beautiful antique bench back from Belgium when we lived in Germany and we started using the storage area in the bench as a place for those cat toys which must be supervised. Whenever our GA Max wanted to play, he would run to the "toy box" and put his paws up on the edge below the seat; oddly enough, Tobey (who reminds me so much of Max) has always done the same thing. Well.....all those toys with the feathers on them...ICK! The feathers get old and separate from the toys. So we cleaned this morning and Tobey and Gracie were right in the middle of it :lol: :lol: :lol: They had feathers all over them. I thought I'd never get all the feathers cleaned up and I'm sure there are still some floating around.
Here's the dynamic duo after all the cleaning was done; they rather have a look of anticipation on their sweet faces, don't they? :lol: :lol: As you can see, Tobey's eye is better today...or else he just didn't want to miss anything ;-)
Let the REAL playing begin, Mom!!!
I think Lil Stinka is having a bit of a bounce after her trip to the 40s yesterday. She was stubborn about coming up, that little one. I hope she doesn't go any higher, though. I didn't intend to test her on that specific schedule last night but I happened to wake up (or Gus woke me up), so I tested her so I wouldn't have to get up again when I was GOING to test her originally. Convoluted? Anyway, once when I got up to test her, she had her back legs and hips on Mike's pillows and her torso and head on the bed so she was laying at an angle with her head lower than her hips. I can't figure out how that is a comfortable position to sleep in but hey...inversions are good for you so they must be good for her :razz: :razz: :razz: h
