7/4 Rusty AMPS 199, PMPS 113, +4.5 181

Good Morning, Everyone, and Happy 4th of July!

Rusty had a good night (it does cool off here at night). This morning I was awakened by kitty headbutts and kisses. He had a good test (yay for blue--on the way back to normal, I hope), a good shot, enjoyed his breakfast, gobbled his lung treat, had a nice schmooze while watching the Tour de France (he seemed interested in it).

Today Rusty will be on his own from mid morning to mid afternoon and will have lunch served by his automat. We are going to a 4th of July cook-out at our friends' camp on Hoel Pond (water access; we will be paddling to the party). Thunderstorms are predicted, but the camp is not a long paddle, so we can always wait them out before getting on the water.

Wishing all a great day and sending healing vines to all kitties and beans who need to feel better.

Happy 4th of July! Rusty is being very patriotic - sporting a nice blue! It's good to see a blue numbers, I hope that means he's back on track. Maybe some greens later? I love it that he is watching the tour. My cats do that too, well they did last year - they seemed to like the cycles speeding by. Funny isn't it?

Enjoy your cookout with friends today. that sounds really great. I remember you mentioning them in the past. How nice that it is via water access only. HAVE FUN! and Rusty - be good, surf well.

Hi again,

We got back later than planned from the cook-out: we were playing Trivial Pursuits! In any event, Rusty may have seen green today, judging from his PMPS number. He ate all his food that was left for him and was sleeping in his basket when we got home, just in time for PMPS. It was a hot, still day with a few showers, but no torrential rains. We had a great time. Rusty got some good outdoor time before dinner.

We hope that everyone had a good, safe 4th of July. Will get caught up with your condos tomorrow.
