Yesterday

Trix earned yet another reducie yesterday...we're now down to 3.5U. While I love these greens...I have to admit, it's kinda weird. Isn't that an odd thought - "Hey, I've got this diabetic cat who is well-regulated on insulin!" It was weird that she insulin needs suddenly shot up so high, and now it's kinda weird that they are coming back down so quickly...but, she did do something similar a year and a half ago. I love how FD keeps us guessing :roll: . She does drink more water than she used to (I assume that's related to her early CKD issues), but aside from that, she is her usual self.

We had a quick-but-nice dinner to celebrate DH's birthday.

The sun has finally come out today, but I'm going to skip the pool and keep plugging away at stuff around the house. It's not the most exciting way to spend a staycation, but things had fallen so far behind that being home and surrounded by the clutter was a bit stressful at times. Plus, I'm working in a little beading fun of my own, too.

Wow!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: way to go Trixie!! Those are awesome greens. Congrats on the reducie. Mags started drinking more water also in the early stages. Glad you and DH had a nice birthday dinner, belated birthday wishes to him. Enjoy your day off, Amy. I bet it feels good catching up on those things.

Enjoy your staycation. Tat was always a given for us. We did them all the time,. it was out way to keep on top of things around the house, plus it was the only time we ever had for projects. I hope things are going well with yours.

Trix really does have me guessing a bit tonight, with all the incredible numbers she has been tossing me this past week. IF she were to drop below 50 again tonight, should we take the reduction again so soon? I just reduced her this morning. Normally, I would think it's just some shed action, but her numbers have been SO green lately that I'm a little unsure about this...I don't want to put her at risk.

Any thoughts are appreciated!!!

These last several numbers were not food influenced, so I think we're in the clear tonight and the point of my earlier question was moot. Ni ni, LL!
