Happy 4th of July to you all!! Shadow has 3 Ps so far. He ate well this morning and afternoon so far. I never did see a hairball from yesterday's vomiting....he never vomited again, thankfully. I was bracing myself but it never happened. Will wait a few days before trying the Paw Lickin again. Might have just been a flukey thing. I had blended it into a pate since everyone said that their kitties didn't eat the shredded chicken. It looked good to me...but neither one relished it.
Weird how that happens....
I am weary with this food issue. Have a little cheat sheet for new flavors for when I go to the store.
For anyone who has Wellness from Canada...can you check to see if there is carrageenan in the ingredients? It is made from red seaweed apparently and I am trying to find foods without it for myself and my thyroid condition. It is to add creaminess to things...check out ALL heavy creams, a lot of cottage cheeses and other such things. (I believe there are some Organic Valley heavy creams that do not have it but some DO...go figure!)
I am so disappoint to see ground flaxseed in Wellness flavors too...anyway, the carrageenan might be the ingredient that makes the difference in texture if the Canadian made cans do not contain it...
wonder when they started adding it to their food....
Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday!
