Here is the latest. It is relatively stable, but not at the levels we would like to see. Before my human and I came here, we were happy if we saw blood sugar levels below 300. Now we have those for the most part, but we are greedy now. We want them in the 100s.

Looking more and more like he has a high dose condition eh?

Well, remember, I am a big boy. I weigh 18 pounds. So a three unit dose for a nine pound cat like Jacey is similar to what I am getting since I am so big.

Good work in getting the numbers under control. Even if it's a high dose, Bagheera feels better and that's what counts.

My human wouldn't care if he was giving me ten units per dose if that's what it took to make me better. As long as we get these under control, he is happy. Now if we can get me to dip into the blues!

I'm glad you're getting comfortable with seeing those gradually lower numbers . . . come on blue . . . and you know what comes after that . . .

Oh, no, my human gets worried when he sees those green numbers. I don't like them because he keeps on bugging me when he sees them. I will be asleep, just like I normally am, and he will bug me and say, Bagheera, are you okay? I just look at him like, silly human, I am a cat. Sleeping during the day is what I do. I tell you, sometimes I wonder why I keep him around.
