Cleo did have a +9 small meal today. Her BG still 127! I will do again tomorrow to see if it makes a difference. Should I be testing her more?

Woke up to Cleo sitting in bedroom window (it is low to ground) with the civvies on the nightstands. They were letting me know - time to get up and feed us!!! While I was testing Cleo, civvie Opie pushed her can of food (opened at +9, but had a lid on it) onto the floor, lid came off, and big mess. :o Most of the food stayed in the can, but splatters everywhere!

Cleo has 4 P's in place. She ate her second breffis, CC today, her favorite. All kitties out on patio, the boys acting like lunatics, Cleo looking at them with distaste.

OT- I am going to start investigating new laptops today. Mine is working again, but not right. Took forever to turn on and is slow and stumbly - even feels like it is running hotter than usual. I have a fan thing under it.

It's already day seven, soon to be day eleven,
down out of those blues, greens are what you should choose.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes! We are hanging tough here. I keep hoping the meter gives me a quick beep - usually means a lower number - but we are mostly still in the blues. But, maybe that is Cleo's norm?

I added the florti flora to her food tonight, and she really seemed to like it. Even my civvie who really dislikes wet food ate a good amount. My question is can CKD kittes use FortiFlora? Does it effect phosphorus? Appreciate any thoughts/advice.

I haven't heard of any concerns with fortiflora and phosphorus/CKD. It can cause constipation but is generally good for gut health.

Hi Jane, go cleo :RAHCAT I know what you mean about hot computer, mine is so old fans shot have a fan under it still gets hot, I have no N key cats broke it running across it long time ago. :lol: makes it hard sometimes. glad to see everything good though..Linda

Half way there!!

On the testing, if you get a blue AMBG and you feed and then test in three hours and she's down, you don't need to get another test again until the PMBG. Same thing with PMBG. If its blue and you feed then test in three hours, if she's down, don't test again until AMBG.
