Happy Catruday all!

Where to begin...lots of frustration this morning at breffis. I did not add any dasuquin this morning and yet, she barely ate anything. Marje & Sienne, I was worried about the dasuquin because of the soy...maybe I should have stuck with the cosequin. I doubt I will opt for the adequan since that requires taking her to the vet's and given her hatred of that place, I will hold off on anything that is not "emergency" necessary.

I set my alarm for +2.5, as usual, and must have turned it off instead of hit snooze...slept until +4 :shock: By the time I got up, she had eaten a little more of her breffis, but I ended up throwing out ~ .50oz. :roll: I gave her some Turkey & Giblets w/ her zobaline and she ate pretty well.

She is still not acting quite like herself and she has not pooped today. :shock: nailbite_smile Trying to decide if it's because of the anal sac expression on Thursday night or the dasuquin. ugh! We did play a little this morning before I went btb and she's preening right now. Pee is good, but I haven't heard many purrs lately.

Response to last night's condo: Ann, thanks for the baby food suggestions. I'll pick some up tomorrow at Wal-mart. Marje, thank you for the info on the thermometer. I've actually had that model on my Amazon wish list for a few months...time to purchase! :razz: Tara, I hope Buster likes the dasuquin. Mariko, I actually stole her name from an ex-boyfriend and she definitely fits her name. Shasta is like a contraction of "she" + "has" + "to"...so her name came about when I realized that Shasta have food; Shasta have water; Shasta have lots of attention...She has to have food; She has to have water; She has to have lots of attention. :lol: Ella, thank you for the fuds suggestion! I'm hoping this will help!!

Bummer that she doesn't seem to be dealing with the Dusaquin so well. If it makes you feel better, I'm at least learning from your experience and I will be cautious with it. I hope she starts to feel better soon! Let's bring it down to double digits tonight, she-has-ta have greeeeeen!

Hello Mary, Carla, Josie, Liz & Tara!

Shasta and I have been quite lazy today. After I ran a few errands, I haven't left the couch much. We did get a great little nap in together and I got some purrs out of her. Goodness, she's the best nap snuggler! We have played a few times today, but not quite her energetic, aggressive play...more subdued. And she still seems a bit lethargic, but she did produce a little poo earlier this evening. I guess I shouldn't say much about her being lethargic...I feel like a slug today. Think it is in my best interest to try to get to bed "early" tonight. Thank you all for checking in on us and sending poo vines and feel better wishes. She's just finished a good portion of her snack and now she's resting next to me. I'm sorry I didn't get around to condos. Hoping to be a little more alive tomorrow! I-)

I totally forgot the biggest part of the day...this is our 1 year annifursary on FDMB!!!!!

THANK YOU to all the wonderful people on FDMB & LL for the amazing support and advice and comfort! You have given me another fun (and sometimes scary and nerve racking) year with my sweet girl.

Glad she had a poo today!! You could give the adequate injections at home. When Gus was on it, that's what I did. Keeps the stress down.

Morning Deborah, big, big awwww......so precious with the pic. How did you ever take the pic? My lighting isn't too good, but that's you under he covers, right? I'm glad she had a poo. Are you giving Shasta anything for the poo? Sending more poo vines from Mags and me for Shasta. I hope she feels more like herself tomorrow.

ETA -- Oh I just looked again and see now how you took the pic. I was so byst admiring Shasta I didn't see ydour legs.
