Hello Friends,
Jessie was diagnosed with feline diabetes today, 2/8/2004. She is about eleven years old, and has otherwise been very healthy all her life, just minor hairball problems. She found me eight years ago when I was buying dog food in a pet store. A lady walked in with a cardboard catbox, and I overheard her telling the store owner that she was on her way to the Humane Society because she couldn't keep the cat due to her newly-diagnosed cat allergy. I said, "Let me see that cat," and opened the box. Those gorgeous green eyes and sensitive face nabbed me right away, and I took her home. Now she has this new challenge of diabetes, and we'll beat this together too, if I can figure out what we're doing!
