i have the pleasure of sharing my home with kali, age 6 a pretty black and white tuxedo girl, mickie, age 17 a super soft tiger tabby girl with a boys name, and cora, an all black, sleek and low to the ground little girl about 4 yrs old

my sugarcats have both passed on- sara, who was approx 9 yrs old when she went to the bridge and my sweet sweet boy snoopy, who was about 14yrs old

sara was an all black kitty with a tiny tuft of white on her chest, who was found along with five kittens, under my sisters shed. she loved to eat, and unfortunately that probably contributed to her getting diabetes, as well as the steroid shots she had for severe diahrrea. she was diabetic for 2yrs and then in chronic renal failure for 2 yrs. thru it all, she never lost her love of food nor her appreciation for the simple things in life. she was a once in a life time kitty!

snoopy, my blind diabetic boy with a dogs name, came to me from the local shelter. he was in pretty rough shape, with bad teeth and serious eye problems. he was also deaf when i first got him, but regained his hearing about 6 mos later- a complete mystery to me and the vet.
snoop was on Ultralente insulin to start with but switched to PZI and did well on that.
he eventually became quite senile, and with the untreatable eye problems he had, i had to say goodbye to him on Sept 11th 2004
i miss him so much! he was so sweet and innocent and snuggly! he always met me at the door, and merUMed for me anytime he was confused or scared. i have never felt so needed, nor so loved before.

i can't wait to see them both again!
