Well if it's quite a bit lower in a cycle... Then goes high. Like it goes down to 60 from 250, then shoots up to 350.... You know the first dose was too high.

Of it goes from 250 to 90 back to 250 that's fine.

What do u think of today's #s so far? Maybe switch to the 2nd scale?
 
I'm still thinking 2.5U is a little too much for over 300. Her PMPS might shed more light on that tonight. If so, I'd say switch to Janet's 2nd scale.

2.5 is too high.... It's making her fall far then bounce. On those pink preshots drop the dose. Go with the second scale.

Some days she is fine with a larger amount of insulin so it's like a juggling act and so frustrating. But a few days ago at over 300 and 2 units she did really well. I think i went back to the higher scale because of her 200+ nadir a few nights ago. Just gotta be more patient.

The thing is when she is 350 and goes down to say 100, while its a nice safe nadir, it is bound to trigger a bounce from dropping like 60%. The goal is to stabalize the numbers and try to get those preshots down so the bouncing stops.... Once the preshots are lower you can get into those lower nadir numbers without triggering bounces.

Weird kitty. Hope her PM nadir gets a little better. Maybe dropping over 300 to 1.75u and anything under to 1.5. So doesn't seem to do well with super small doses like 1 unit or under. We will see! Giving it more time. :)
