    Hello!
My vet says to increase 1 ui. I'm not going to do it, but I do not know whether to increase it by 0.25 or 0.5
Her curve is very similar to the previous one, with less dose ...
    Can you help me?

    Thank you very much

It is normally recommended to increase by 1/4 unit. I would do that, but if she continues to run too high, I would increase by another 1/4 unit in three or four days. I would not hold the dose too long if she is still not in better numbers.

    I'm thinking...
the morning that she had 300 I shot 1.8 ui and at night she had a Hi
Is it possible that it was too much for 300?
now I'm in 2 ui but she stills high
    What is your opinion?

Normally, if a dose is too high, you will see the glucose go too low before it goes very high. Based on the test results you have, I do not see where that has happened. The more data you can get, the better. So, if you can get at least one test in during every cycle (or almost every cycle), somewhere between +4 and +8, it will help. I see that you do not have any tests during the evening cycle. Could you test right before you go to bed or during the night if you get up for the restroom?

While pre-shot numbers are important, it is even more important to know how low a dose takes Cuki during the cycle. The pre-shot numbers are going to be the highest since the ProZinc is mostly worn off by then. Also, sometimes, if a cat goes lower than they are used, even if they still do not go too low, they may 'bounce' a bit and go a little higher; however, when that is the case, you just have to hold the dose and let it work itself out.

thank you very much for helping us
I will try to test at night, I work away from home, but I will look for the way.
She gets stressed a lot and spends the day hidden, but I think it's the only way to help her.
thanks for the explanation, I understood it perfectly.
I read a lot of the forum, but the translator does not help many times ...

the problem is that it changes words, like shooting, bouncing, keywords that I have been deciphering.
If I want to look for something concrete, it often mistranslates the word and I can not find it, they are details of sentences, basically

    you understand me well?

cuki keeps uploading her numbers. I will measure her to +5

I consider getting antibiotic again, I do not see her happy. She has skin problems. Negative ketones, but she is eating less. It can also be the stress of the tests ...

Thank you very much by your help

    I'm very afraid
    Pre shot 507
    +4,5. 413

I'm going to give her an antibiotic because the previous time she lowered her glucose to 300. She had blood in her urine a few months ago, but bacteria did not come out in the urine culture. We gave it to her for her skin wounds. the antibiotic is called Cefacure. It's possible that the stress of the tests has infection. I do not know
    what do you think?

I know this doesn't help, but just wanted to say I'm with you. My cat has fairly consistent high numbers and it is so frustrating trying to figure it out. Big hugs to you.

thank you very much for your words ... it is very frustrating, because a few days ago she was going very well and now again badly ... and she gets very stressed with the tests, and I feel very bad for making her go through that and still not knowing what happens or what I do wrong ...
thank you very much, Big hugs to you too

Thank you. I just noticed your earlier post that mentioned skin problems. I hope someone else more experienced here will see this - but have you discussed possible Cushing's disease with your vet? I know delicate skin can be a symptom. But I really really hope that's not the case.

You might try posting out in the Main forum to ask about the skin issues. There are many people there that might be able to help.

She is now suffering from diarrhea ... I consider taking her to visit the veterinary hospital, but it is 1 hour by car, and I am afraid of her stress. Is a sedative advisable?

the veterinarian who attends her here is not very good ...

Sorry to hear this. :( My cat gets extremely stressed by vet visits- his vet prescribed Gabapentin to calm him down. I would only use something prescribed by your vet, of course. Best of luck today and keep us posted.
