@FurBabiesMama @MrWorfMen's Mom do you think the numbers i got today are her bounceing? Should i drop down the dose agian? She was blue before shot and now shes yellow after shot. Makes since that it would be bounce because she was so low. Im heading out of town but ill test her agian soon as i get back.

Hi. Without mid-cycle tests, it's not possible to know how low the insulin dose is taking her. I see your note that she was in all night last night, but it does not look like you got any tests in. Having the blue pre-shot numbers the last two mornings could indicate that she is starting to go lower at night. I see several days back when you were getting blue PM pre-shot numbers, she had gotten into the 50s and 60s during the previous cycles. If you are not able to get in consistent mid-cycle testing, you could consider a small dose decrease just to be on the safe side. On the other hand, if you can get tests in during the crucial +4 to +8 range, you can get a better picture of what is going on and can make a more informed dosing decision.

I wasn't trying to get on to you or make you feel bad. You do the best you can; that is all any of us can do! If you can get tests in during the +4 to +8 range of the cycles, it is very helpful. So, just keep that in mind when you are available to test during that range (maybe you could do it at night sometimes?). You don't have to test every hour. Just try to grab a test or two during those times when you can.
