    Yesterday

Going to try to get buddy in today or tomorrow to see what is going on. It feels like all of the progress we have made has been destroyed. I hate seeing him not feeling good. Hope we can get this figured out.

I just caught buddy in a place he could never be and hasn't up until today. Up high on the dryer where the civies eat their kibble. Buddy has never been able to jump up there due to the nephropathy and arthritis so it was always a safe place. Well this would explain the last few days. I feel really dumb now not realizing this sooner.

I'm glad you figured out what is going on and it's nothing serious. If there's a way to get to kibble, they'll find it.

    Sending Vetty vines.

Hopefully with that +2 it's a sing his numbers are going back to where they should be. Try not to worry, a couple of days in the yellows is not 'destroying' all the progress.

Does he seem sore anywhere? How are his 5 p's?
    Has he got into anything?

Ha that might explain it, I hadn't pressed post on the above comment, got sidetracked, then I saw your update:rolleyes:

On the plus side, his neuropathy has improved:p

    Good to see you!

I am really hoping this is the answer, But he has been mopey and not wanting to eat (Big dummy was already full I think) and sleeping alot. So I think the higher numbers made him feel poopy.

Fingers crossed that in a couple days things will be back to normal! GAH!

LOL! Oh these sugar cats! I swear I think they have a special radar for contraband! Be it human food or kibble...they seek it out like a heat seeking missile and move in for the kill! Yes, that should explain all of the weird numbers and lethargy too - he's just enjoying the heck out of that contraband and probably has a 'sugar high'...glad you caught up with the culprit and his wiley ways...and can put a stop to it ASAP....

Don't beat yourself up! He doesn't have a way to announce his bad intentions to you...'oh mama, I'm feeling so much better now, I can jump up to the top of the dryer'...just sayin'...

Hope his numbers slide back down soon...

And that you get the issues with OneDrop worked out too!

Haha! I literally yelled at him for not telling me he was feeling that much better! Silly cat. I have been (Very) slowly getting the rest of the kitties off the kibble but its been tough. Well that just got a big push today. They will be off soon!

Well I guess he feels well after all. Once it's out of his system, he will feel better. How about a chip feeder for the kitties dry food. That way they can have their and Buddy hopefully can get it, and maybe Young Again or clean protein dry that is lower carb at least.

Years ago, there was a kitty who would steal waffles out of the toaster!

I'm glad to hear that Buddy is feeling a bit more spry.

Freckles stole toast out of the toaster shortly after being diagnosed.... caught her in the act. Also opened up a high cupboard and chewed a hole in the caramel popcorn bag!
