I did a curve Monday night but I raised his dose that night to 2.25 based on how he had been doing leading up to that curve. I feel like after 5 doses of 2.25 he needs to go back up to 2.5 but I wanted to get a second (or more) opinions of people that have been doing this longer than myself. .He's very rarely getting a blue and hasn't had a green in a long while. I would like him to be back in those healing colors....

It's time for his night dose and I'm not working tonight so I'm going to keep him at 2.25 tonight but I would like to up him tomorrow morning based on your replies and his AMPS. TIA everyone. I am thankful for you all so much!

From the protocol "If nadirs are more than 150 mg/dl (8.3 mmol/L), increase the dose by 0.25 unit"

Yes, it's time for an increase in dose for Lou. :( He needs more juice.

So it's not just during curves that we follow that - it's any time? I wouldn't adjust more often than after 3-5 cycles of course but it's not just following a curve?

Also - I just bought a new vial of ProZinc (in case I can't get out to get it when needed) and then I got to thinking maybe my vial is going bad and that's why his numbers are so high....but the vial is not even 2 months old and it looks the same as it did when I bought it. It's probably not the vial that's the issue here is it?

No, it's not just following a curve where you can raise the dose.

    No, not likely.
