GA 7/25/20 Olive AMPS 149 ER

Can't post previous thread right now.

At ER different one. She is very lethragic, not eating at all. Only gave 2 units this morning. Is peeing, pooped this morning then laid down in box. Hips very sunk in. Back end wobbles a bit when she first tries to walk but then gets legs moving correctly. Only way to describe it. Can't get any pills in her.

I hate waiting in the car. Can't reach them on the phone to tell them to check her bg. Its +7.5 she had 2 units this morning. She probably dropped by now. Theirs lines are busy. Im banging on door. If she is low they are going to think thats the problem.

 

Are you able to walk around the building and bag on a window that has a human on the other side?

 

Windows are to high. Finally told a tech who came out to get another animal. Going on 3 hrs now.

 

The waiting must be intolerable, Paula.

Oh my gosh Paula I'm so sorry to hear this. Acro is such a tough disease. You took such good care of her, and Ollie knew that you loved her immensely. My heart is breaking for you. Huge hugs to you.

I am so, so sorry Paula. I know you have done so much for your girl, and she knows it too. Soon she will be flying free, back in her acro free body.
Neko will be there, along with the rest of our GAs, to greet her at the Bridge. She will be in good paws.

You did such a great job taking care of all of Olive's issues, including the Acro. Such a cruddy disease. Olive had great regulation.

Leoberry will be at the Bridge waiting for Olive, so our Acros can hang together. I'm sorry you lost your father too. Fly free gentle Olive, if love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.

 

Oh Paula I am so very sorry to hear about Ollie. I know that Boomer will be waiting at the bridge to greet her.
