Hi Diane UIT gone Praying and waiting for another Economic Stimulus Payment to take her back to the Animal Eye Specialist It has been 3 months and the eye still is not clear Thank you for asking
Been praying for Amethyst's eye. Always love looking at her amazing SS, you are such a diligent mama.
We are well, as is little one, thanks for asking! She is 15 weeks and the shelter said that they call around 16 weeks to schedule spaying so here's hoping it all goes well.
OH I will say prayers. Amethyst threw up and had the runs for two weeks after hers' She is very timid and shy so it completely traumatized herShe got much better after that tho
Oh NO poor baby! Was she little when she got spayed? We've never had a bad spay/neuter but our one year-old kitty's mama died the day after her spay because they snipped the wrong thing. Thank you for your prayers <3
Hi Pamela - i'm not on this subforum much, and just checked Amethyst's spreadsheet. It looks great. You have done a STELLAR job taking care of Amethyst and regulating her. Her chart looks amazing. I always wished the cabergoline would have dropped Amethyst's dose some more. It is a bit surprising to see the recent rise to 19.0 units. But that dose is obviously working out great. Also noticed the "thunderstorms - under bed" notes. Our Little Dude, not so much. But Chinus is like that - after 14 years you would think they would learn to ignore it. Leo used to hide from thunderstorms too.
Hi JeffHope you and your loved ones are well and safe THank you but like I always have said it is because of everyone here Also I just put up a post on the Acromegaly Forum could you read it and respond with your thoughts please Thank you again
I know I was heartbroken when I heard the news! Her mommy was my co-worker's boyfriend's mom's cat but at least she kept our little one's brother and they are both solid white just like mommy was. Heartbreaking though, she was beautiful with two different colored eyes. I sure will thank you, also I almost forgot she is SNEEZING again. We've done two rounds of antibiotics for her URI and I thought it was finally clear but she's got the sniffles again and her eye is leaking so I'm adding more l-lysine to her food and hoping she doesn't need more treatment. Extra prayers for her please!
YES!!! My first cat,Alcyone, who was also a rescue kept getting upper respiratory infections she had to be hospitalized each time the first six moths I had her because they kept coming back Sending prayers
All is well here. It has been a year since Leo left. Acro is such a horrible disease. Even with the SRT, he still had a lot of acro symptoms - I don't think SRT is a perfect cure, but it helped. Chinus is 14.2 years old. She even sleeps under a gentle heat lamp in the summer to help with arthritis. Little Dude is well....JUST about as cute and cuddly as a ~10 year old cutie can be. Whenever Theresa goes to watch TV, he gets on her lap within 5 minutes! Chinus rolling her head for attention, heat lamp turned off for the picture 7/26/2020 LD, Lucy, Trinket, and their MOM - July 31, 2020
