yesterday It was a wild ride last night trying to keep Billow above 50 lol, but we did it and she stayed in the greens the entire night. I'm grateful. New dose this morning of 1.75u, already doing its work as Billo is back down to 43 +6, I was just taking a class so I couldn't test her earlier but I'm glad I caught her in time. I've fed her M/HC, will test again in 20 min. She's really keeping me on my feet, I hope she stays around the low numbers! Have a good day everyone!
She is looking good! Well done gor keeping her through the low numbers. I am still quite new using Lantus, but I think you need to take into account the depot? i.e. the effects will still be stringer than the reduced dose, because the previous higher depot is still operanting.
this is fantastic. Congrats on the new dose. Billo is really getting the hang of Lantus. So I wouldn’t count the 43 as one of her drops below 50 at her new dose because as Karen says, the 2u depot is still in play. She could keep you on your toes for a while yet.
