    Hi all,

Yesterday (02/21) we saw the best downward movement in quite a while. Mowgli went from 459 PMPS, to +2= 301, to +4=224, before going back up over 400. It's been 24 hours since his low of 224 and he is still over 400. Are we seeing a prolongued bounce?

Bounces can last up to six cycles/three days. That lovely 224 is lower than he's seen for a while, so not surprising he bounced.

Thanks for the reassurance Wendy! I have faith that Mowgli will get there...slowly but surely.

As a follow-up to this: We're on cycle 4 on this dose. Does a bounce play any role in the determination of whether a dose increase should be delayed when the 6th cycle comes? In my mind, it would make some sense to wait for the bounce to clear before increasing the dose in order to see a what the average nadir is with the dose.

Feel free to tell me I am way off base on this idea. Thanks again!

Yes and no. You don't want to increase on the same cycle as the bounce breaks. There can be downward momentum when a bounce breaks, add an increase to that and it can be an exciting cycle. Given where Mowgli's numbers are now, I think I'd welcome a exciting cycle. LOL. If you don't see blue by the end of cycle six at this dose, increase by 0.5 units.

Thanks for the clarification! We'll keep an eye on his numbers from now until cycle 6.
