He went below 70 (his planned reduction point) twice … if so, what do we reduce to? 10u? @Wendy&Neko @Suzanne & Darcy ? thanks?
Jill, you might want to start posting again on the Lantus/Basaglar/Levemir forum for dosing advice. It's a much more active forum and with plenty of people who can answer in a more timely manner. You can try 10.0 units. It's be an opportunity to see how sensitive he is to this size of dose change. Usually over 10 units we make changes by 1.0 units at a time. With a recent change in cabergoline in the picture, you will have to keep in mind that you may need larger changes. But let's see if this is a on-off or a trend first.
Thanks Wendy! I’ll start back up over there: I think folks were a bit more hesitant with dosing advice bc of the acro but we will see how it does. Thank you!!
Well, no insulin this am anyway. He barely ate overnight or this morning and is at the ver for an enema after not pooping since at least Sunday. He was given lactulose but this am he was walking with an arched back and tail down, and has been in and out of every box in the house “trying” … so, wish us luck.
