Hi Katherine, Not a bad day so far for Ruby at all. I'm so happy that you will be off for 10 days. I'm sure Ruby and Olive will be happy to have you home. Do you put a tree up? If so how are the kitties with it. Have a nice e night and I hope you see some green :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Hi Diane! We do have a tree and the cats are totally disinterested in it. They came to sniff at it when we brought it home and that's it. They're jaded old ladies. :p I never had a tree when they were small because I was afraid of what mischief and destruction would ensue.

One cat I had before Tyler and Perry , another love of my life would constantly pull all the ornaments off. Every single night I was up chasing him away.

My mom cats Oliver was in my apartment one night, my mom lived close to me at the time so he would come by me wanting to come in.
I let him in and went over to my parents house and when I got home the whole tree was laying on the floor. Boy was I pissed.

I have never put a tree up when I got Tyler and Perry, only because with NY daughter having the chronic pain disease she's had for 17 years already we had no interest in putting one up. We really don't do anything for any of the holidays.
We can't go to my sisters because Ashley can't be around noise.
So it's just me and her.
I do surprise her with gifts though . Are you going anywhere for Christmas or are you having people over by you
 
Ruby was HOWLING for food about a half hour before her usual shot and mealtime. I tested her the first time, 50, then again and got 42. I'm going with the lower number out of an abundance of caution and did not give her a shot. I found a poop in the LB, don't know if it's hers. I have a new pet cam coming that I hope will be better as the other one I had just did 30 second clips whenever there was movement. I am now getting a Wyze v3 with an SD card that will provide continuous feed for days so I know who is doing what in the box. Sigh.

OMG, those are crazy cat Christmas tree stories!

It's better that you're keeping quiet again this year for Christmas given the way the virus is spreading around here. The lines I see every morning at urgent care facilities around Hoboken are insanely long. I had a PCR test yesterday and am waiting on the results. :nailbiting:

You should see the lines here too, it's crazy, every place where you can be tested is around the blocks, the pharmacies. Let me know the results, you will be ok :bighug::bighug:

I hope you don’t feel sick, Katherine! At least if it’s Omicron it’s reported to be quiet mild and short-lived - but hopefully would confer more durable immunity upon you than the COVID shots. Of course, the PCR test will only tell you positive or negative. It won’t be able to determine which variant… for that they have to do genome sequencing.

But I REALLY hope you won’t be ill for your ten day break!!
