https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/should-i-shoot-above-68-8-31-fin-11-is-110.267821/ His numbers have been lowish today. I don't want to mess up his dosing plan but I'm not sure if 90 is too low to shoot. He hasn't had a 90 pre-shot before.
No, sorry for confusion...I was anticipating low PMPS because +11 was 110. SO I wanted to know if the NO shoot number was 68. I remember that he needs 68 for reduction.
Okay. There are several threads I was just trying to look through. So you got a 90. You fed. Have you retest after food?
I went ahead and gave the .25. I will monitor. The 147 just seems high. Not sure how to put it in spreadsheet
Hmmm. He was low but ate…. Up to you. If you give the MC ahead of time though then we may not be sure of what his non food-influenced BG is.
Well you can note that it was +13 in the spreadsheet or +13.5 or whatever it was. And put in the remarks that he was fed at pmps or whenever you fed him.
What time did you end up shooting? I’m actually looking for clock time here. I believe you are Eastern time as I am.
I'll check again at 9. I have Karo syrup out just in case. So far he looks fine. He ate some more dinner-LC wet food. Big appetite today/tonight.
Definitely me! lol. He is wide awake now and none too happy He is looking for somewhere to hide. I fed him more LC wet food.
It's strange that he was resting with 107 at +2 but 15 minutes later he was pacing around looking for somewhere to hide. +3 is 113. He is resting now and looks comfy. He's a persnickety old man
Glad that worked out! So the number you actually shot is what goes in the preshot column. You have two different choices - you could alter the +11 cell to say "110@+11, 90@+12", or you could have the PMPS cell say "90@+12, stall, shot 147@+13". I personally prefer the latter as it's easier to see the stall/shoot at a glance but it's whatever works for you
