Thank you!
I did not increase but bought a new pen from CVS, I will get it tomorrow morning . And I am shocked by the price, 21 dollars! I was paying around 100 with Chewy, did not order a new one since early 2024, that’s a nice surprise. This one is weird, I never had so many bubbles, inside the pen and in my syringes, and it smells, which never happened to me with the Lantus ones. It’s a generic that a client donated to my vet, and she gave it to me.
She vomited just after eating, finally expelled a hairball, I feel like she was trying for a while. And then she started eating it back. Not the hairball, but the food. Yuck.

That's it? Did you use any GoodRx coupons or the Lantus Savings Card? Is it a Lantus pen or the generic/Semglee?
No, nothing! I walked into a CVS pharmacy and asked with my paper prescription (I wanted to compare prices so i asked my vet for paper rather than sending to one), and she told me the price for Lantus. I've heard prices went down but I was not expecting it was by so much. How much is it in India? I think it's even less than that in France, we have friends who visited the US a few years ago, their 10-year-old son is diabetic, his insulin was stolen from the fridge in their hotel room. My husband called a prescription to a pharmacy close to where they were staying and they had to pay $300 for 3 pens. They were very shocked since in France it's around 8-10 euros, I think, and completely paid for by insurance.

The prices where I am have dropped pretty drastically for Lantus - I need to head to my local walmart to grab one I ordered, and it's less than $20. For actual Lantus. The generic glargine was more expensive the last time I bought it and the lantus has dropped twice since then.
