    Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty was coasting in the 40s when I tested him at +7 last night so we decided to get back to sleep and not to do any more tests. He ate some of his nighttime food at +7 and all of it was gone this morning. He may want another reducie, but he is only 6 cycles into this one. Right now he's sacked out on the couch, waiting for me to come and schmooze.

The beans are feeling much better this morning. Edward is going to bake bread. We really enjoyed "The Grand Budapest Hotel": so many wonderful and cleaver "references" to art and literature. Very Kafkaesque. The only Stefan Zweig I have read is "The World of Yesterday", which is a memoir. I shall have to read some of his fiction and drama.

Today is the 4th anniversary of Stu's journey to the Bridge. Our little chef is happily at work with his pal Mannie in their Two Chefs' Kitchen at the Bridge. Please join us in remembering our kitty, who we adopted shortly after 911 and who later taught us so much about FD. Here he is as a 6-year-old, appropriating the dining table:

Wishing you all a good day and sending vines to all in need,

    Ella & Rusty

I'm glad to hear that you and Edward are feeling better. What a wonderful photo of Chef Stu! Hard to believe that it has been four years. I will think often of him today, and hope that Bear Man is at the table enjoying the feast that Stu and Mannie are preparing.

Way to go Rusty ...on your numbers and eating your food !

Although I was not a member of FDMB back then to have gone on Stu's Journey with you guys, I am sure it was a hard fought battle. He was a gorgeous Kitty! Sending lots of hugs ...

What a beautiful start for Rusty! Glad to hear you beans are feeling better- no better cure than fresh baked bread and perhaps some of that chicken soup from Tess!

Ella, I am sorry I missed that it was the annifursery of Stu's passing last night :YMHUG: :YMHUG: My eyes are filled with tears as I look at Chef Stu's picture- what a beautiful Tuxedo kitty he was- he looks just like my kitty Junior, who crossed the bridge a decade ago. (My Junior had that same habit of trying to get up onto the kitchen table  ) Thank you for sharing the beautiful picture, I'm sure you have such special memories that will live in your hearts forever! :YMHUG:

    Morning Ella :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

WOW, and what a night for Rusty, a low green surf. Well done Rusty. Be good today. the blues are a good spot to rest up from all that lagoon swimming.

YAY! You are both feeling better!

It is hard to believe that is has been 4 years since Stu crossed to the bridge... I wrote about this on My condo, in a comment on your post: I thought of Stu this morning, came to me out of the blue, while waking the beach very early on today. Vibes from Mannie and Stu I am sure. So I spent a few moments there remembering him, and Mannie too, and all that made Stu as special as he was. I so miss those days of LL, the emergence of the KTSS, the party bus, all that Stu and Mannie came up with, with Tess and Gracie in the middle of it too. They were good days then. Here's to you Stu! I will always remember you.

Have a the best today. I hope the day is a good one! LOVE Stu's photo btw.

Hooray for beans feeling better. :D Mmmmm on Edward's baking bread. Nothing better than fresh baked bread.

I wasn't around when Stu crossed, but I've heard so much about him I feel as if I was. What a handsome fellow! I hope you only smile now when you think of him. I'm sure he's watching over you all from the bridge.

Nice numbers for Rusty today. It's great that he didn't bounce after that length swim in the lagoon yesterday. Nice and steady -way to go, Rusty!

Enjoy your day, Ella, now that you're feeling human again.

Rusty is looking great after last night's shenanigans. Good to hear the beans are getting better. I can smell the bread from here. Yumm!

Stu was such a handsome boy. Black and whites seem to like the kitchen table. Maybe he's making bread tonight at the Bridge too. :YMHUG:

Thanks for visiting, everyone, and for remembering Stu. Barb, it is great to hear from you. I miss our daily weather reports!

Rusty has had a rest day, slowly climbing through the blues. After yesterday and last night, this is good. The weather is beautiful and the fall color is at it's peak. Tomorrow's paddle should be lovely. Today I got out for a short spin on my clunk bike.

I'm sure that Stu was busy baking bread right along with Edward. And his catmint plants are thriving.

    bbl,

    Ella & Rusty

Sorry i miss your condo this morning, we had a lot going on. I'm so glad that you are feeling better, I hope that holds for tomorrow's paddle.

It doesn't seem like 4 years since Stu left the gang behind. You are right , I know he is baking bread right along w/ his daddybean. Tess says if you are feeling lue she will come and sit in your lap again. She thinks that would feel wonderful.

I remember hearing stories about Stu from my earliest days on FDMB - just a few months after he passed on. He's a beautiful boy - looks a lot like my McGee. Nothing like a tuxedo kitty - i think i can feel Stu's fur . . . and I imagine it is so soft. :D

Thinking of you and Edward as you remember your sweet boy. cat_pet_icon :YMHUG:

Stu was such a handsome guy. :D I'm glad you're both feeling better! What a nasty cold. :-x :-x Not a bad day for Rusty, especially after his lows last night. Have fun on the paddle tomorrow! I'm sure it will be beautiful.

What a nice flat day for Rusty. I hope you all were able to relax and move a step forward in recuperation. I think Edwards bread is perfect for what ails you!

In loving memory of Stu....so handsome and a LL icon. (((Ella and Edward)))
