Doodles 1/24 We're not talking about how my boy has been surfing these last few days I even trusted the cat and didn't get up to poke him every 2 hours last night

My hand was a bit shaky this morning and pulled the needle out a little quick so there maybe a drop or so that didn't make it Otherwise pretty sure most of it got in as I do count to 10 before pulling the syringe out of him.
All 5 P's have been in place except the poop thing here and there. He's still enjoying the cat TV which is on more than any bean should admit.

...and I am impressed that his helicopter bean got some sleep last night.

Boomer watched cat tv on my laptop one evening and he enjoyed the show about owls the other night; he was sitting between his daddy bean and I and watching the Great Horned Owl fly back and forth!

I never thought Doodles would take to it as much as he has. It took civie Moo a lot longer but they love them. I play it on low volume all night and a lot during the day.

Watch some cat TV and keep the numbers good. Gravy might taste good, but no one likes a rumbly tummy.

 

I still got the +4, +8 and +10 in last night so guess you could call that a break. I haven't sleep more than 3 hours in a row in over a year...unless I slept though an alarm once or twice.

Could you please explain the 18-hour cycle in your SS on 6/9-10/16? I came across it for the 2nd time in another spreadsheet today and remembered seeing it first in yours.

It's another option used for unique situations. I specifically used it on 6/9/16 (first time ever) because I did not want to shoot the PMPS of 76....his IAA was very volatile and he's hard to bring up with systematic hypo's. So instead of "delaying without feeding to see if he was rising or getting off schedule by feeding and shooting late or skipping" I fed normally, and shot his dose at AM+18. Because you cannot shoot L less than 12 hours apart (there are small exceptions by moving the shot time back) you skip the next dose (in this case the AM dose) and get back on schedule the following PM. So basically you are doing two 18 hour cycles. Some will use the 18 hour dosing if they are going to be super late with a shot and can't get off schedule. I'm not a fan of the 18 hour dosing because it messes up 3 days of cycles. It works for some but that was the first and last time I'll do it with Doodles. If anything I'd rather just skip for Doodles.
