It's been a while since I've logged in here. I'm moving to west Portland (Hillsboro area) in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good vets in the area. I don't need someone who knows everything about feline diabetes but am looking for someone who is willing to work with me if any issues come up with my sugar babies.

Can’t answer your question but wanted to say hi. I see you have two diabetics now. Good luck with the move.

:bighug: After Henry passed last year, Mikey and I were lonely so I adopted Finnegan in March from DCiN. He's around 8-9 years old and has been diabetic a couple of years. He went from 14u BID ProZinc to 2.5u BID Levemir. I'm pretty certain he has teeth problems so it will be interesting to see how his numbers do once I get that taken care of (one of the reasons I'm looking for a vet).

I’m glad Mikey is doing well. I’ve wondered from time to time after you stopped posting. Max has been gone a year now and I fostered two kitten last New Year’s Eve that I adopted. :bighug:

    Hi K,

    You are missed!

Really glad to hear that Mikey is doing OK and also good to hear he has a new sugar buddy.

Hope the move went well and that you and your boys are settling in nicely.
